The aim of this course is to demonstrate the importance, and benefits, of documenting evidence within your service. This course will support you in gathering evidence that demonstrates your knowledge and understanding of what, why and how well you do what you do. This will enable you to cross-reference and link policies, guidance and frameworks. This course will show you how to gather evidence which is based on practice, and it will increase your confidence in adopting a streamlined approach to providing evidence that's meets a variety of policy and guidance requirements. The course covers evidencing children's progress, evidencing planning, evidencing your practice and evidence for self-evaluation.

This course is fully funded by Scottish Government with CPL made available to all childminders as part of the important childminder retention strand of the PSCF.
