This course is designed to help childminders understand how trauma informed practice can help support children within your service. This course covers understanding what trauma is, it's impact on young people, and the key principles of trauma informed practice. The course will also explore how to apply trauma informed practice in your childminding service, how to create a trauma informed environment and the importance of self care.
